ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

 

The Ethan Bennett Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from Silver Creek High School who will be attending

any Indiana private or public accredited college or university.

 

The trustees, administered by the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, award scholarships to help fill the financial need of students pursuing educational opportunities at accredited colleges, universities, and technical institutions in Indiana and schools participating in the ‘Metroveristy’ program. The Scholarship considers those who perform well, particularly in the “Reading” section of the SAT, ACT or their equivalents. Additionally, the EBMSF considers students who have performed moderately in their aggregate GPAs, who are ineligible for state or federal grants and who have not qualified for academic scholarships.

The board works diligently to hold expenses to an extreme minimum in order to maximize benefit for students.
